The Lamb’s Haven is an all-volunteer animal rescue dedicated to improving the quality of life for animals across Texas, especially those that are overlooked, abused, or left behind by traditional systems. Founded by Faith Mackey , The Lamb’s Haven was built on a simple but uncompromising belief: every animal deserves safety, dignity, and a second chance. Under Faith’s leadership, the organization provides shelter, medical care, a safe place to heal, and training to animals with nowhere else to turn. Based in Godley, The Lamb’s Haven rescues a wide range of animals, including dogs, kittens, goats, pigs, donkeys, and horses! They are proving that compassion isn’t species-specific and impact doesn’t require a large organization, just relentless commitment. Their work transforms not only the lives of animals, but the communities around them, one rescue at a time.
For The Lamb’s Haven , every hour saved on admin work is an hour spent rescuing, healing, and rehoming animals. That’s where you come in.
By volunteering your Salesforce skills during StandUp Weekend 2026 (May 1–3) , you’re not just configuring objects and flows—you’re giving an all-volunteer animal rescue the systems they need to operate, grow, and sustain their mission.
Your work will help:
- Centralize animal, foster, and medical records
- Streamline intake, adoption, and volunteer workflows
- Improve visibility into donations, supplies, and care needs
- Reduce manual processes that slow down life-saving work
In short: better systems mean more rescues, better care, and a stronger future for animals who don’t get second chances without help.
If you’ve ever wondered whether your Salesforce skills make a real-world difference—this weekend answers that question, definitively.
StandUp Weekend isn’t just for Salesforce pros—it’s for anyone who wants to contribute to something meaningful. Alongside the Salesforce implementation, we’ll also be building a website for The Lamb’s Haven , and we need volunteers with a wide range of skills to make the weekend successful.
You can help by:
- Supporting website content, design, or QA
- Assisting with event coordination and logistics
- Helping with food setup and hospitality
- Managing volunteer check-in and on-site flow
Whether you’re technical, creative, organized, or just great at making things run smoothly—there’s a role for you here. Impact doesn’t come from job titles; it comes from showing up and pitching in. Bottom line: if you want to help, we’ll put you to work—in the best possible way.

In addition to volunteering your time, you can support The Lamb’s Haven through our StandUp Weekend Donation Drive.
The Lamb’s Haven relies entirely on community support to provide food, medical care, shelter, and rehabilitation for rescued animals. Donations collected during StandUp Weekend 2026 (May 1–3) will go directly toward meeting urgent, day-to-day needs—helping ensure every animal receives the care and dignity they deserve.
For every donated item, you’ll receive one raffle ticket. More donations = more tickets = more chances to win.
All donations go directly toward supporting the animals The Lamb’s Haven rescues and rehabilitates, funding essentials like food, medical care, shelter supplies, and ongoing treatment. Your generosity helps meet immediate needs while giving you a shot at some great prizes.
We’ll share a list of high-priority donation items and raffle details ahead of the event. Bring what you can, give generously, and let your impact multiply.

Meet the Team Leads
Veterinary Sponsor Spotlight: Animal Medical Surgical Hospital of Frisco
We are grateful to recognize Animal Medical Surgical Hospital of Frisco and Dr. Bedoya as our official vet for StandUp Weekend.
At a time when access to high-quality veterinary care can be the difference between rescue and recovery, their team is stepping in not just as clinicians, but as advocates for every animal that comes through Lamb’s Haven.
Animal Medical Surgical Hospital of Frisco brings a rare combination of advanced medical expertise and genuine compassion. From preventive care to complex surgical procedures, their work ensures that animals receive the care they need to heal, rehabilitate, and ultimately find a home. More importantly, they operate on a philosophy that aligns deeply with this weekend’s mission: care should be proactive, thoughtful, and rooted in dignity, for both animals and the people who love them.
Their involvement in StandUp Weekend goes beyond participation; it reflects a shared commitment to what happens next. Healthier animals. Stronger rescues. More successful adoptions.
Because behind every successful rescue story is a team that shows up at the critical moment and follows through.
Donation Drive
Every animal at Lamb’s Haven arrives with a different story but they all need the same foundation: care, comfort, and stability.
Donations of everyday essentials food, toys, medications, beds, and supplies make that possible. These aren’t extras; they’re what allow rescued animals to heal, decompress, and begin the transition into a safe, permanent home.
To make it even more impactful, each donation counts as one raffle ticket giving you the chance to win while directly supporting an animal’s journey from rescue to recovery.
Make Dog Toys With Us
Got an old conference tee collecting dust? Perfect—we have a better use for it.
All weekend long, we’ll be turning unused t-shirts into durable dog toys for Lamb’s Haven. It’s hands-on, easy to jump into, and a great way to contribute in real time.
No experience needed—just show up, tie a few knots, and be part of the impact.
Fundraiser
This weekend, we’re setting a clear goal: raise $5,000 for Lamb’s Haven.
These funds directly support medical care, food, shelter, and the day-to-day resources required to take in animals and prepare them for adoption. It’s not abstract—it’s what enables the next rescue, the next recovery, and the next successful placement.
Every donation moves us closer. Every contribution counts.
$5 = 1 raffel ticket
Let’s hit the goal together.
