At the root of a successful project lies the Discovery; the initial consultation between the implementation team and the client. In and of itself, a Discovery is not an unusual event. Most consultancies use Project Discovery to determine requirements before plunging into a solution. But there the similarity ends. Like a lawyer during cross- examination, they understand how to drive the conversation to uncover the hidden points of friction and the true objectives of the stakeholders.

Thanawalla Digital places a premium on the art of eliciting honest objectives of a project. Human interaction is an art. At Thanawalla Digital, our team members have over 30 years of Enterprise Discovery under their belt and have led large, complex, multi-team projects to completion. Our discovery style is relaxed but rigorous. For most projects, the team leads a multi-day Discovery which begins with a series of written, contemplative questions about the business. At Discovery, the presence of all stake-holders is required. Follow up meetings are held to identify and review the project’s scope of requirements with the client.

For custom built implementation and integration solutions, we follow a path of 4 steps. 

  1. Visibility first: here we look for the key items in each transaction and build dashboards around them. Data accumulates at an alarming rate.
  2. Velocity next – projection and knowing what is happening next is only possible if your data is easily reachable by your charts and dashboards.
